Fungal Pathogen Surviellance of Seals
We have been parsing through veterinary medical records, mostly harbor seals in Washington state, and summarizing information into an Excel spreadsheet to analyze and look for trends in fungal exposure. Then, we're utilizing nasal swab data and natural events and connecting them with medical records to tell the story of the spread of fungi, alongside creating a map of the samples collected.
Past (2021)
Sculpin (Fish) Ventilation
The team and I developed and carried out a project for studying ventilation in various sculpin species. We researched and determined links in multi-functionality (anatomically and morphologically) while using coding software such as R Studio.

Past (2020)
Pandemic Effects on Various Wildlife Conservation & Husbandry
The team & I researched and investigated the effects of lockdown on cats, non-human primates, and birds, while developing enrichment plans that encouraged natural behaviors such as foraging and muscle usage. We observed, collected, and inserted data into a database after reviewing black-footed cat husbandry footage in order to develop an unprecedented guide for the species' husbandry

Past (2019-2023)

Ruminant Nutrition & Optimizing for Reducing Methane Emissions
I worked alongside the team to conduct experiments on ruminant nutrition to investigate how different feeds change the amount of methane emission produced by cattle.
